Welcome to ScrubMate. By downloading or using this app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Purpose of the App (Not Medical Advice)

ScrubMate is designed as a study companion and reference tool for nursing students and healthcare professionals in training. Features include vitals references, acronyms, dosage calculators, checklists, daily tips, and optional AI-powered study helpers.

ScrubMate does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content, tools, and AI-generated responses are for educational and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional clinical judgment, institutional policies, or consultation with qualified healthcare providers.

2. Eligibility and Intended Audience

ScrubMate is intended primarily for adults and older teens engaged in nursing or healthcare education.

By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. Users under 13 are not permitted to use ScrubMate in accordance with COPPA. If you are using the app as part of a school or program, you remain responsible for following institutional rules and policies.

3. Use of Content and Tools

You may use ScrubMate for personal, non-commercial study and reference. You agree not to rely on the app as the sole source for clinical decision-making or patient care.

Always follow:

• Your program guidelines and faculty instructions.
• Institutional policies and procedures.
• Orders and guidance from licensed providers.
• Manufacturer information and evidence-based resources.

You may not use the app in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or interferes with app operation or security.

4. Calculators and Conversions

ScrubMate includes calculators and conversions for learning and practice. These tools are provided as-is and may not cover every clinical nuance or edge case.

You are responsible for double-checking all calculations against your institution's policies, approved references, and any clinical decision support tools used in your setting. Do not rely solely on ScrubMate for medication or dosage decisions in real patient care.

5. AI Study Helper and Other AI Features

ScrubMate may include optional AI-powered features, such as an AI Study Helper chat for explanations and practice support.

• Educational only: AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
• No medical use: Do not use AI responses for real patient care decisions.
• No emergencies: These features are not designed for emergency use.
• No patient data: Do not enter PHI or real patient identifiers.
• Third-party processing: Prompts and responses may be processed by our providers to deliver the feature.

Your use of AI features is subject to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

ScrubMate may offer optional purchases or subscription features. Purchases are processed through your Apple ID via the App Store.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before period end.
• You can manage subscriptions in iOS settings under Apple ID subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled under Apple's App Store policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in ScrubMate, including app design, layout, text, references, checklists, icons, and code, is the property of IllaoiDr Technologies LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from ScrubMate or its content without prior written permission.

8. No Warranty

ScrubMate is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability for any specific educational program or clinical environment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IllaoiDr Technologies LLC is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of ScrubMate, including errors in content or calculations.

You agree to use ScrubMate at your own risk and verify critical information with appropriate clinical resources and supervisors.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update or modify ScrubMate at any time, including adding or removing features. We may also update these Terms of Use periodically.

When material changes are made, we will update the last updated date. Continued app use after publication means you accept the updated Terms.
